Well then, that is just perfect timing, blind luck or the universe pouring a bit of kismet in our direction.

Why, you ask?

Because today is release day for our long-awaited “Misfits of Magic” anthology, featuring stories by myself, Kristina Barnes, Michael K. Falciani, Michale Morton, N.V. Haskell, and on top of all the great stories, we’ve been blessed by an opening by the amazing fantasy writer, Piers Anthony, author of series such as the “Incarnations of Immortality” and “Xanth”.

And what luck that we have our first review this morning as I’m putting together this post.

Misfits of Magic is a collection of 10 mystical and magical tales. They vary by author, and I found each one to be very different, but I loved them all.

Amazon Review

Now, as with any anthology, you can get a mixed bag of stories loosely based on a theme, but this collection was tough to sort and decide. We had so many great stories of Magic with compelling characters in beautifully constructed worlds that we didn’t want to cut any of them. Unfortunately, the anthology could only be so big.

On top of all this, Misfits of Magic is the breakout release for Three Ravens latest author and padawan editor, Kristina Barnes. She deserves a shout-out and pat on the back for all the work she put into this collection. When you go over to Amazon, make sure to follow her author profile to keep up with her latest releases.

Wanna know who made the cut?

Then keep scrolling down. 😉

I hope you enjoy the stories as much as we did. It’ll be interesting to see where these worlds go in the future.
