And here we are with another week gone by. Words have been written, stories edited and outlines started. It’s funny how time can slip by without you ever noticing.

Besides writing, day job and the regular daily happenings, we have been prepping the garden for planting and setting the hives up for an awesome season. The girls have been very busy, dragging in pollen from all of the goldenrod and other early blooming flowers in the area. So much so that Alan was able to do a walk away split with the surviving hive. Then, we managed to catch a second swarm for this year and if all goes well, we will be able to catch a few more before it gets too late in the season. The traps are set, and I impatiently check them daily.

Something for any of you aspiring beekeepers out there, Check out Don the Fat Bee Man on youtube. He shares all kinds of great information on raising bees and how to keep a hive happy and healthy.

“The Mistress”

One of the things that helps my squirrels stay busy and not give me a headache is randomly throwing ideas back and forth with friends and coworkers. The below is just that. A fun little back and forth that turned into something funny and I think enjoyable. I will clean up the email and put it into something more readable later this week, cause I’ve got chores and yard work to get done while it’s nice out. So check back on that later.

Other than that, we have a new episode of my VLOG series, “The randomness of my mind”

Check it out, like, share, subscribe and all those fun bits like that. 🙂

Keep your heads up and your pens sharp..
