I recently ticked off one of my long time wants, which considering I’ve been slowly converting the shop into my official office

…and that want now doubles as my office chair.
In the grand style of Boss Hogg, I now have a barbers chair in the shop.

Side tangent time.
For those of you who don’t know who Boss Hogg is, he was the beloved bad guy in The Dukes of Hazzard TV series, originally played by Sorrell Booke.

Boss Hogg, whose full name is Jefferson Davis “J.D.” Hogg, is a fictional character from the American television series The Dukes of Hazzard. He is the corrupt and greedy commissioner of Hazzard County, known for his white suit, white cowboy hat, and cigar, and for his schemes to enrich himself through dishonest means.
Now, this want has been mostly a lifelong want.
Before I was even in school, my Papaw would take me to Blair West Virgina to see an old Army, and mining buddy of his who’d retired and set up his own little barbers shop in his basement back in the 70’s.
We’d get our ears lowered, and he’d get a good clean straight razor shave while we were at it.
After his friend had passed, Papaw acquired the barber chair and had it in the shop as his shop chair.
I don’t know what ever happened to that chair, but if I could snag it, I would.
But now, I at least have one similar.

It is soooooo comfy too.
But currently working on the next Braxton short that I’ll share with my paid Patreon subscribers as soon as I wrap it up.
So until next time, keep your heads up and your pens sharp.
