Howdy all!
So happy that spring is here again. Time to get the garden going and some dirt therapy is in order. And this year, looks like we’ll have some keylimes to harvest.

Even though the weather is just now warming up, that hasn’t stopped me from riding all winter.
I upgraded my cold weather and rain gear, and the only thing really stopping me from riding at this point is aching knees.
Been putting lots of miles on Josie, taking serveral folks for a ride, including my youngest. I’m pretty sure I’ll be adding another bike to the stable at some point for him.

And after doing some disassembly to Veronica, I found the culprit for the lighting issue. 30 year old wires do tend to fray, but I think something is rubbing, so I picked up a military grade 8 pin cannon plug to rewire and reroute the wires for my lights out from under the fender so there’s less chance of it happening again.

Other than that, I’ve been writing where I can and editing/publishing the backlog of titles over at Three Ravens.
That’s one thing I am working toward clearing off my plate so I can really get back to focusing on my own works and managing the several series I have set up at Three Ravens.
Around the house
Garden cleanup in prep for a fallow year is in work. I’m hoping to get a big chunk of that done tomorrow.
Then rework the herb bed and set up our mushroom beds. The first of which will be lions mane, oyster, and Reshi mushrooms.
And one of our newer barn kitties Tabatha just had a fresh litter of kitten nuggets.

Other than that, we had the opportunity to take the kids, grandkids, and some of the extended clan to the Creative Discovery museum in Chattanooga last weekend. Been a long while since we’d been there, and it was just as much fun as it ever was.
And I decided recently to become a Dudeist Priest. I’ve been ordained for years, but honestly the ideals behind dudeism actually strike a chord, similar to the Easy Rider mindset. Take life easy, don’t stress, and do what makes you feel good.
And yes, Dudeism is based on Jeff Bridges character, The Dude from the movie The Big Lebowski.
Does that make me a lazy ass? Not in the slightest. It means I try my best to enjoy and live life, not just exist.

Reading

I’m always picking up old and odd titles, while Mooncrow was honestly amazing, I’m really fighting my way through the Captain Gringo novel. Horrible writing and editing, but dammit, I’m going to finish the book!
Inspiration
Inspiration can come from anything, honestly. Bug sent the picture below to our family chat, and I immediatly saw there was a story here. Even though it’s just one of the walls of the school, what are the odds of a random cat print in a brick?

Until next time, keep your heads up and your pens sharp
