It does not seem like it’s been two months since I posted on this page. Life gets busy as hell sometimes. So the bike is all but done, few minor tweaks to make, like repainting the tank and making a new horn bracket.LibertyCon was insanely productive this year. Just as soon as I can finish the edits and publish fLUX Runners, I’ll be hitting my JTF story “Widowmakers” for Cannon publishing and “Wildcat”, A “Fallen world” story for Chris Kennedy publishing. Both have been outlined, notes jotted, and complete scenes written. Just a few items of research to add in before the full flesh out. On top of that, I was asked by Michael Hanson, creater of the Sha’Daa series to co-author the first Sha’Daa novel, Tentatively named, “Aeronauts”. Then general outline has been laid out by Mike and a lot of scenes and details have been discussed.Add to all of that a number of anthologies that I was asked to submit too. Which, those who know me know how much I struggle with word count on most shorts. It has gotten easier and easier to kill my darlings and get the piece under the word count.Speaking of shorts, I received notification last week that my short story, “Orbital Odds” had received honorable mention in the L. Ron Hubbard writers of the future contest for the second quarter of this year. I never expected to come close to that. So happy surprise. :)Anyways, the next few months are going to be jam packed and busy as hell. Artwork for my upcoming kids book is in work and my goal is to publish fLUX Runners before the end of August, so I can carry copies with me to Next Chapter Con, in Ringgold Georgia in September. So that’s it for now. Keep your heads up, and your pens sharp!~WJR
