Another side track we made before heading back to Georgia, since Bug plans on going to Mortuary college was the Cawley & Peoples Mortuary Museum. I snagged well over 100 pics from this place of so many things used in the funeral industry from the days of undertajers to modern day funeral homes.
The tour is free, but you do need to call and schedule it. Well worth the stop if you’re in the area. Mr. Peoples was a fountain of knowledge and happily answered all of our questions.
Side note, this man has to have the largest collection of Packard automobiles I have ever seen.
