We started the spring of with lots of miles on Josie, putting the new Harley through her  paces while enjoying a bit of life with the family.

From riding down to Druid Hills near Atlanta to help a good friend move in, side treacking to Alabama for the Wild Medicine conference, (where I met the perfect analog for Mandy from my Braxton stories), running down to Pensacola to pay my respects to a fallen Crew Dawg from my Air Force days, and visiting friends in Panama City.

Needless to say, lots of miles have been chewed up, and at this rate I’ll need new tires soon.

Plus lots of words on the page and a bit of wrench turning as of late.

Lets start with the travel…

Druid Hills

Wild Medicine Conferance

Pensacola NAS, Navarre beach, Panama City Florida

(It rained so freaking hard between Destin and PC)

Took the Word Witch to The Silver Jalapeno off Hog Jowl road.

Upgraded Josie with crash bars for the saddlebags

Picked up a new bike for the stable. Meet Midge. 1986 Honda Rebel 450 we’ll use to train the family to ride.

The goober is super stoked to learn how to ride.

And been helping my buddy Doug clean up “Dirty Girl” so he can get back on the road.

The clowder grows

I’ll be attending LibertCon next werk, so if you’re coming in for the con, stop in and give me a holler

Upcoming concerts

Tonight we’ll be taking the clan to see ICP at the Signal.   I’m freaking stoked!

Reading/Listening

If you love historical alternative fiction, you’d probably love my buddy Taylor Andersons Destroyermen series.

Current Projects

And now to the part I’m guessing most of you follow me for. What the hell am I writing/working on?

Honestly, it’s been a whole lot of Braxton Hicks short stories for the anthologies I’m wrapping up.

This whole back to the office thing sucks. It killed a bunch of time I was using to write and publish titles through Three Ravens.

With the back log of titles, I’ve been writing when I can, jotting down outline notes, cranking out words on shorts and my next Car Warriors novel, Bloody roads.

All I can say is to be patient. Once I’m through the back log of novels and anthologies to publish, I’ll be focusing on my own novel word count, and managing submissions for my shared universes over at Three Ravens.

Besides the next two Car Warriors novels I need to knock out. I have the first Braxton novel in work, and the first modern JTF-13 novel.

So until next time, keep on keeping on.

And remember, keep your heads up and your pens sharp. You never know where inspiration will pop up.
