Have you ever wanted to do a writers workshop to improve your craft, but didn’t have the cash or time to do it?

I just finished the Writers of the Future workshop today, and I will say that the time spent was well worth it. I learned a few new things and was reinforced on a number of other items. Here’s my two cents that I left as a review.
A very worthwhile writing workshop chocked full of useful information for everyone from the “baby author” to the “grumpy old veteran author”. A good portion of the information reinforces what I have learned in other writing workshops and during my time in the Chattanooga Writers Guild.
I would like to throw one special thank you out to Mr. Card in the section dealing with show/tell. Yes! Sometimes you just need to tell what’s going on so you can get to the good stuff. Thank you for that!
